At Blueprint we offer a variety of studio classes ranging from 30 minutes sessions to a full hour, so you'll be sure to find a class that suits your schedule, your fitness level, and one that will help you achieve your goals. 

All of our instructors are highly experienced in teaching in their field of expertise, so you can rest assured you'll be in safe hands. 

More About Our Classes

PILATES

The benefits of regular Pilates practise include:

  • A flatter stomach
  • Increased overall strength without unwanted bulk
  • Enhanced balance, coordination and flexibility

Our classes hold a maximum of 14 participants (10 for props based classes) to allow the instructor to give each participant the necessary attention, ensuring everyone is moving safely and effectively. We offer Pilates classes for BeginnersIntermediates and also Pilates with Props for those seeking further challenge through resistance. All are mat work classes.  If you are new to Pilates we would recommend that you book a one-to-one beginners lesson with Mia. Please register your interest with the Studio reception or via our online 'contact us' form and we will arrange this with you. This will offer you an excellent introduction to the movement patterns and sequences that provide the foundation for the most beneficial Pilates practise and will give you exercise modifications based upon your personal posture that you can use in your mat work classes.

 

Class Breakdown:

Essential Level Classes - Suitable for beginner and intermediate levels (after beginners 1:1 lesson is completed), or those returning to Pilates after a length of time away from practise. Great for learning the basic positions, activating your deep core muscles and learning the breathing patterns.

Intermediate Level Classes - Suitable for those who have been participating regularly in essential level classes who are competent with essential level exercises. This class can be very challenging but there are suitable modifications.

YOGA

Yoga is about a balance between the body and mind, combining postures and breath to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The discipline of the ancient art of the asanas (postures) and perfected breathing techniques leaves one feeling revitalised and focussed.

Yoga is a practical system that builds flexibility, stamina, endurance, balance, concentration and mental clarity and has many benefits which include keeping the joints loose, the muscles relaxed, toning internal organs and increasing circulation without creating fatigue. 

Most importantly it helps reduce stress and anxiety.

Dionne's yoga sessions are an hour long and every class will be different, covering many different styles of yoga, from restorative, hot hour, to a dynamic vinyasa flow. Each workshop will cover a different aspect of yoga and meditation each month. Dionne also offers a 40 minutes Body Alignment session which works around manipulation of joints/muscles.
